The potential investors were welcomed by Mr Udy yesterday afternoon and toured the school . We have heard that this was a successful viewing and the investors left satisfied, although some of the delegation who have visited before were saddened by the change in the school since their last visit.
There have been two subsequent meetings since the viewing between the Investors, their advisers, translators, Russell Alkins, and Daniel as a representative for the Parent Group.
Discussion focused on the best way forward for all parties and Daniel has been able to give assurance from the Parent Group that the imminent reopening of the school would be welcomed by all parents and students, and that we would give our support in any way to ensure the success for the schools future.
Russell Alkins, who has worked tirelessly to facilitate this deal, has also been able to reassure the investors that although The Alkins School of Dance is committed to providing the highest standard of dance at Abbotsholme School he is still fully committed to Abbots Bromley and is determined to help in any way possible.
There are further talks this afternoon and we hope to bring you more news as the visit progresses
